Welcome, Gerhard van Zyl

Today we welcome Gerhard van Zyl to the rapidMATION team.

Gerhard is a Software Engineer with 17 years of web application development experience who enjoys problem solving and end-to-end design.

He enjoys collaboration during every step of the SDLC, from requirements elicitation to system design, coding, code reviews and eventually testing support and product support after deployment to a production environment.

Gerhard loves working on new, interesting technologies and occasionally enjoys hacking together personally useful applications on weekends, playing around with React JS and Unity Game Engine among other technologies.

A little bit more about Gerhard:

"I started my career working on internet banking applications before moving to K2/Nintex, where I worked on SmartForms and then the K2 Five HTML Workflow Designer. I enjoy learning about new technologies, whether it is programming related or otherwise. In my spare time I enjoy PC and console gaming, boardgames, photography, cooking and attending rock concerts. My wife and I are new to Melbourne and are looking forward to experience all this great city has to offer."
